Vertiv Geist™ Power Distribution Units (PDUs) via Mulder-Hardenberg provide reliable power distribution to critical IT equipment mounted in a rack/cabinet.

These PDUs are extremely suitable for use in the data center & telecom industry, among others, in server rooms of the financial and insurance institutions, entertainment, construction & technology, education & government, military, defense and aerospace solutions and distribution of other professional services.

These PDUs provide a comprehensive view of the power consumption of critical IT equipment, both in the rack and via remote access. The added ability to remotely turn on, turn off or restart the power of any outlet. Switched PDUs are available in a variety of electrical and outlet configurations. The PDUs give users the flexibility to install the intelligence into the PDU they need, upgrade hot-swappable technology, and as needs evolve.

In addition to real-time energy consumption statistics, the Switched PDUs also provide email and SNMP alerting for voltage, real power, apparent power, amperage and kilowatt hours in the rack and via a secure web interface, along with remote control of the outlets. The PDUs provide key insights that allow the user to balance the load, evaluate energy consumption trends and ensure maximum uptime.
